Matteson studied screenwriting at Boston University and has completed several feature length film scripts. He is currently shopping these two scripts to financiers.

When a mortuary employee witnesses a customer’s suicide he becomes terrified of death and seeks to eliminate all danger from his life.
- Advanced to the semi-finals of the 2007 Disney Writing Fellowship competition (top 15 our of 1000+ entries)
- Selected for IFP’s Independent Film Week, and named a finalist (top 5) for Best Screenplay
Guidance
A high school guidance counselor changes a student’s grades to help him get into Harvard in an effort to redeem his own mediocre life. This script has been optioned by Rosemark Pictures and we are currently seeking financing and attachments.
